Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to do anything before my appointment?
Please come with a clean face, wearing moisturiser only. If you are planning on waxing anything please have it done at least two days prior to appointment
Can you come to my house?
I am completely freelance so I am able to come to whatever location suits you. If the location is more than 30km from Jindabyne then a travel fee may apply.
Should I bring anything to my appointment?
Bring along any images of makeup that you like as well as pictures or colour swatches of your outfit / colour scheme. If you have a lipstick you'd like to wear on the day bring that too!
How long does makeup application take?
This depends on your needs, for bridal makeup I like to allow 1.5 hours, for bridesmaids / special occasion makeup 1 hour.
What makeup brands do you use?
I stock my kit with products that I have tried and tested and are of professional quality. Some of the brands include: Hourglass, Kryolan, MAC, Inglot, Harlotte Cosmetics, Naploeon Perdis, Laura Mercier & Nars
Will my makeup last all day / night?
The products that I use are designed to give as much longevity as possible, however depending on your skin type, activity level, eating etc you may need to do some light touch ups (blotting paper, a dash of pressed powder or a swipe of lipstick should be all you need).
Should I have my hair or makeup done first?
I find it best to have hair done first, this takes away the risk of product/water accidentally ruining any makeup and your makeup will be fresh when you leave.
Do you offer hairstyling?
I am trained in basic styling, however I prefer to focus mostly on the makeup. If you have more than two people then I strongly recommend booking a separate hairstylist (I'm able to point you in the right direction of some amazing stylists!)
